Our Mission
We just want to take a moment and let you know about our vision and programming for NextGen ministries. Our NextGen ministries include children from birth to 18 years old. Our programs include - nursery, Sunday School classes, children’s church services, Youth Group, Royal Rangers and Stars. We want young people who enter our doors to have and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our goal is to help children and students develop a Christian worldview that creates a generation of Bible literate students who follow Jesus with their whole being.
Children's Ministry!
Nursery (ages birth through 4)
Open and available during all services
Our nursery is staffed by volunteers who are prepared to play, pray, dance, sing and share bible stories with your child. Just stop by the nursery in the back hallway and fill out a check-in sticker provided by our volunteers. *All volunteers go through a background check.
Children’s Church (Pre-K to 5th grade)
Sunday Mornings in the Children’s Church Room (following whole congregation worship- children are dismissed by pastor)
During this time, students are exposed to a 6 week series that takes them through Bible stories and teaches them to apply biblical principles to their lives.
Look for family devotions to come home each week with your student to follow up on the principles learned!
Sunday School (K-5 and Middle School/High School)
Sunday Mornings 9:30 to 10:20 in the Children’s Church Room
Our Kindergarten through 5th grade Sunday School program is a continuation of our children’s church curriculum. We use the small group portion of High Voltage Kids Ministry curriculums to deepen students' understanding of the Bible. During this time, there is a bible story retelling, a game/activity, a group sharing time, a prayer time and closing.
Our Middle School and High School students are studying the Bible Engagement Project and meet in the Gathering Room at the end of the sanctuary.
Royal Rangers (Boys aged 5 to 12)
Wednesday Evenings 6:30 to 7:30 in the Fellowship Hall
Royal Rangers is an activity-based, small-group ministry for boys and young men. Right now our groups focus on boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Our mission is to evangelize, equip and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders.
Stars (Girls aged 5 to 12)
Wednesday Evenings 6:30 to 7:30 in the Children's Church Room
Stars Club is an activity-based small-group ministry for girls. The girls spend four weeks studying a topic like creation, cooking, community or Bible. There is a time of praying, lessons, and an activity. The girls learn foundational skills to grow and develop into women of God.
Core Youth Group (Middle School and High School students)
Wednesday Evenings 6:30 to 8:00 in the Fellowship Hall
Students meet together each week for a time of games, worship and the Word. Our students enjoy snacking on food and playing games like basketball, soccer, Gaga ball and more during arrival time each week. We then enter into a time of worship where we spend time praising God and entering into his presence. Following worship, we study God’s Word. Each service concludes with a time of prayer and reflection.
